DOB: 11/21/2002 Guinevere has been a dream come true for Johnnie. Bred by Susan Pennington of Ksar and co-bred by Karen Cartabona, she is everything that a Borzoi bitch should be. She is the winner of all breed bests, specialty bests, supported entries and was the number one bitch in all-breed systems for 2007 while only being shown regularly through June. |

This cool logo was designed by Marshall Pennington, Susan’s son! |

Top Left: She was gorgeous even as a baby! Top Right: Besides being a top show dog and magazine cover-girl, Guinevere is my companion and enjoys just goofing around with me. Here, we are snowed in at the Zuckers after Westminster 2007. Roni and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. Left: This photo was taken at the 2007 Borzoi National Show. She received an award of merit and we drove to West Virginia and won another all-breed best in show the next day. Then we drove back up to the northeast and won another specialty best in show. It was a long week but it was worth it! |

Tripletime thinks that Gary Doerge ROCKS!!! He saw past my handling mistakes early in Guinevere’s career (I do a better job now) and awarded her some wonderful wins over some of the tops dogs in the country. We are proud that it was Gary who presented us with her first Best In Show! |
|
Another favorite judge of Guinevere’s is Dr. Richard Greathouse, MD. No dog has ever defeated Guinevere under this judge. Not one. I’ll never forget the day he looked up at me after examining her and asked me, “Do you even realize how nice this bitch is?” I almost peed my pants. |

There is nothing like winning a tough hound group under a breeder judge as respected as Dr Jim Sillers. The breed win picture was better but MAN, I love that blue ribbon! This was very early in Guinevere’s specials career. Dr. Sillers writes some the best health articles for Sight and Scent magazine. They are packed with useful information and they don’t make you feel stupid or go looking for a dictionary when you read them. |

Ms. Marilyn Spacht awarded Guinevere her very first hound group. |
